Helen and Matt's Engagement Session in the parks of Cirencester - Cirencester Portrait Photographer

At the weekend I photographed Helen and Matt who are getting married in September this year. This was actually the first time I had met with them, Helen told me that when looking at potential Churches in the area she came across a photo I had taken of a groom and his ushers walking to Church, much later on when it was time for them to find a photographer they remembered this photograph, refound me and knew that they wanted me to photograph their weddding, all from this one photo! I love this story :) We met in Cirencester and went into the Abbey Grounds, this is a park I probably would have avoided for photographs because it's the busiest as it's in the town centre and is less pretty than others, but actually there were lots of places, I saw it in a different light. We then went onto Cirencester Park where I had photographed once before, I love it there, it looks quite plain on first look but there are tonnes of little places to take photographs! Here's some of what we did:

Well, I maybe got a bit carried away there, for a change :) I hope you like them Helen and Matt, see you soon!

Vicky and Richard - Gloucestershire Wedding Photographer, Engagement Photographs in Herefordshire

Recently I met with Vicky and Richard to photograph their engagement session. I will be photographing their wedding in June at Belmont Abbey in Herefordshire, the reception is to take place at Vicky's parents which is where we did the engagement shoot. It's absolutely stunning with a gorgeous 360 degree view, this with the beautiful Belmont Abbey I'm going to be spoilt for choice on the day! Vicky and Richard are full of laughter and smiles, it's such fun to process these photos!

So we took a walk around and this is some of what we got...

Can't wait to photograph your wedding Vicky and Richard, see you soon!

Julia and Neal - Cripps Barn Wedding Photographs, Gloucestershire Wedding Photographer

Recently I photographed the amazing wedding of Julia and Neal at Cripps Barn which is near Bibury in Gloucestershire. It was yet another gorgeous sunny April day. Everything about this wedding had a super relaxed, laid back and happy feel to it, this stems from Julia and Neal as that's just the kind of people they are. It was such great fun to photograph and I've got a bit carried away with the photos for this post, particularly all the little details as you'll see, so set your eyes to awesome and take a look!

Julia got ready at a cute little cottage in Bibury, she had a very simple dress with bow detail and a broach, was perfect for her!

The bouquets were gorgeous, lots of different pinks and I love those teeny white flowers, not sure what they are called. They also had confetti at the ready!

Julia's one bridesmaid Susie helped her get into her dress, a big thank you to Susie as she was brilliant all day!!

Wow, right?

I love this one

It was then time to go onto Cripps Barn

Neal, patiently waiting

Check out the grin

This one just makes me smile so much!

The third reading was by Julia's brother and was from Winnie the Pooh! Love it!!

I loved the wedding being set out at Cripps Barn like this, they faced the side entrance which was good for me as it meant this great light, but it also felt more informal having the family curved to the sides

We then went into the nearby field and had a walk around, there were loads of dandelions which looked cool!!

So I put this one in the sneak peak, but just in case you missed it

I love it when people just do whatever they want and have fun, just like this

This is their very own cool car!

Back to it, found bear chilling out

Neal with Best Man David

There were so many cool details at this wedding, I found it so hard to choose these!

They had tonnes of cupcakes which were made by a friend of theirs

For the meal, one person on each table carved the meat for the table

Speeches time!

Cripps Barn has a permanent marquee attached which looks so pretty with all the fairy lights

First dance was in the barn

They had a really great band who I believe are called Session One, they are a mix of funk, soul and pop. Loving all of the dancing photos!

I hope you like them Julia and Neal, I had a fantastic time with you guys, see you soon! x
