Sarah and Colin - Engagement Photographs, Gloucestershire Photographer

On a wet and typically grey day last week I met up with Sarah and Colin in Buckinghamshire to photograph their engagement session. Sarah and Colin are getting married in just two days (well by the time this is posted less than that :) ) but they live in Hong Kong so aren't back for long so I'm super pleased I've been able to get this up for them before the actual day. We went to a cool little place down the road from where they are getting married called Bottom Wood (which we all had a little snigger at). It rained on and off but it didn't stop them, they were happy to do anything I asked. I had a really lovely time there and I won't mention anyone accidently locking their keys in the car and potentially making the other late for a flight for a stag do and instead focus on the really lovely meal that they bought me at The Three Horseshoes Inn near Radnage where they are having their reception :) Thanks again guys, I hope you like my favourites! Lisbeth and Lizzie - Gloucestershire Portrait Photography

I recently spent a fun couple of hours photographing Lisbeth and Lizzie in Cirencester. They're best friends and wanted some photos before they go off to university, I wish I had done this with my best friend! Here are a few of my favourites:

Helen and Matt - Gloucestershire Wedding Photographs, Sapperton Church and The Crown Inn at Frampton Mansell

Recently I photographed the wedding of Helen and Matt, you may remember them from their engagement shoot here. Even on their engagement shoot they were pretty natural and comfortable in front of the camera so I was really looking forward to photographing them again. They got married at Sapperton Church which is a teeny, random yet beautiful Church is a very small village in Gloucestershire. After their wedding we were very lucky as someone just down the road from the Church offered up their backgarden for us to use for their photos, and wow what a garden it was. I could have spent an hour or so easily just taking photographs of Helen and Matt there, it was beautiful with lots of different areas/zones and even included a swing! After we did these we went on to The Crown Inn at Frampton Mansell, another teeny village nearby. They had a marquee in the garden of the pub and it overlooked some amazing views. I've got a bit carried away with some of the details in this blog post as Helen and Matt clearly put a lot of thought into their details which were just perfect and I loved them!

Helen had a feather fan instead of a bouquet, how cool is this


On the back of the fan is a little mirror, such a good idea. The other thing you can see there is a penny which is Helen's something old and borrowed.

I then went to meet Matt at The Bell in Sapperton




















Cirencester Male Voice Choir blocked us in the end as Helen and Matt signed the register and sang beautifully for their guests






It was not a heel friendly path to the Church and back as it's pretty steep!
